If they didn't have proof, there is
no reason for punitive action.

 Before Barry Bonds even thought
about hitting home runs early in
his career he was just like Ichiro.
He was young Skinny and fast. He
was a base stealer. If you watched
him grow throughout they years you
would know that he took steroids.
He went from a fast base stealer
with no home runs to the home run
king? Come on get real. Barry Bonds
is a CHEATER and that's that

 I am definitely against athletes
using performance enhancing drugs,
and there is most certainly a cloud
hanging over Bonds, but there
doesn't seem to be any definitive
proof that he used steroids. The
suspicions are strong, and frankly
I can't say I believe he achieved
the record without "help". Unless
it can be shown beyond a doubt that
he used drugs, the record should
stand.

 However, the modern judgments of
today ARE NOT proportional to the
rules of the past, in any sense of
the word! So their are many things
I would question and hold the Drug
thing as a hole card!
I'm in to Physics and Math, and for
an answer to be totally correct it
must be proved to be inversely
proportional first!
