Actually marijiuana helps people with many different medical problems, for instance my boyfriend has lupus and has used pot for his pain and has not had to be on steriods because of it. I think its gods natural medicine!

 God made marijuana, just as he did grapes,& coca leaves. A little bit of a good thing, is good. It is the Abuse of stuff,that is harmful, that is where we are, Everything in moderation and balance. We sure could use the tax money!

 The only reason it is illegal now is because at one point in time illegal immigrants brought it over and at the time Us was a racial place. White people were ignorant in that time period. So they made up that it causes violence. If all the drinkers would partake there problems on weed instead of alcohol. Better yet and street drug addict. If that was the only street drug. The only issue I have about pot is we can't prove the difference of being under the influence at that time to i smoked 5 days ago not today. But i am sure we can figure out the technologies. A lot of stuff is blamed on pot use that a person is capable of doing with out it. Like the forgot to commercials. I forget all the time but i can'nt blame smoking...i dont smoke.  Yes it should be legalized. I have never met a person high on pot that was out of control. It is a calming weed and I don't see the difference between that or muscle relaxers or sleep medication.The police spend so much time throwing people in jail for having a bag of weed then getting the true criminals off the street.

First of all, POT is NOT a drug! It's a PLANT!

Second of all, it's the person's choice to smoke it. If they want to harm their body, it's their choice.

Third of all, People kill people for drugs all the time. It would lower the crime rate, and people could just buy it.

Fourth of all, It's really not that bad for you. It's actually not near as bad for you as cigarettes.

So why not lower the crime rate, and give people their choice to harm their own body? If you ask me, people would most likely not try pot. The main reason people start smoking pot, is because it IS illegal.

 It deserves a place in herbal medicine. I think it could open the door to natural pain management, stress management, and you could stop taking any sleep aids.lol Really it's more than proven to be a safe plant, better than what can be said for most pharmaceuticals.

 Well, marijuana *is* a drug, however, I smoke it, and know people who do, and I would never, ever touch any of the man-made drugs that exist.

 Why not legalize it? We have been fighting a war on drugs now since at the end of prohibition (1933). In order to keep their jobs the and the budget that they had federal agents who had been trying to get rid of alcholic beverages needed a new demon to fight. Marijuana became that demon.
Personally i think all drugs should be legalized and believe me I know the cost,I had a brother overdose on crack, but that was a choice he made and it's really none of anybodies business what we do to own bodies.

 There is no additives at all in pot so how do you consider it to be a "drug"? It's a all natural plant!!! Say we did studies on rose bushes and we found that they give the same affect as pot, are we going to make it illegal to have them? Why make a freaken plant illegal? It is ridiculous!!

 I have to take xanax for the rest of my because of a panic disorder an post traumatic stress disorder and pot does the same as xanax does for me. I must take a highly addictive chemical because of my job. You people allow government heroine (methadone) to be sold in your respective towns. Yet I cannot smoke a plant that grows naturally. I don't particularly think that smoking marijuana would be a favorite pastime of mine, but I think that if it were made legal fewer people would lose their lives over it.

 I am not a smoker myself but i believe in making it leagal. My boyfriend has been smoking pot since the age of 16 he is 27 now and he does not even come close to having shrunken testicles lol omg! I have been with many people that were smokers and not one had small testicles. That i believe is a myth! Thats not a proven fact!

 First of all marijuana is a drug. For medicinal purposes it should be prescribed as an aid for cancer patiences who can tolerate it.
I haven't decided yet on personal use for recreational purposes.

 I feel whenever we try to justify something we are doing that is not correct, shady' or even illegal as rigth and correct we call it legal or not a drug and point the finger at everything and everyone else this applies not just to drugs it applies to a lot of things in life. However what we forget to remember is whenever we point one finger there are 3 pointing back at us!! Get my drift???
