I am so sick and tired of people wanting to have things banned. People can get injured or killed in almost any sport! If one doesn't want to take the risk, than don't play! Even a golfer can get beaned by someone else's ball!

Risk is an element of sports. I can't imagine that anyone who participates doesn't know that. There are ways to regulate sports to make them safer by protecting the participants. Football players (US) where all kinds of protective gear. At one time baseball catchers played without face or head protection. All players now wear helmets, and catchers wear face masks, chest and leg protection. Ice hockey players are covered with protective garb. If clothing can't protect the players, the rules are usually tailored to provide safer games.

You as a participant must be aware of the dangers of paintball, yet you play at your own risk. I wish I were young enough to play.

People are always looking for riskier and more dangerous sports. Hang gliding, bungi-jumping and sky diving all have their risks, and are far more dangerous than paint ball. The law makers in your country should come to their senses. If regulation can make it safer, fine. Banning it is ridiculous.

 Why ban it there are so many things that are dangerous why single out paint ball?

 What about boxing? American football? Hockey? All sports and games can be dangerous. There's no point of banning it.

 Paintball is fun and is usually play in a safe area. The player are protected so why worry?

 If someone wants to put themselves in a hostile environment for fun then that is their decision not the governments

 I don't think it should be banned what is wrong with it

 Paintball should be more accessible so we can train for the apocalypse anytime, anywhere.

 Well, some things like the age at which you are allowed to obtain a paintball gun and supplies might come in handy to have a limit on. But just because it's dangerous doesn't mean it needs to be banned, PEOPLE PLAY AT THEIR OWN RISK!

 I don't think it should be banned but it is a very dangerous sport and I think there should be an age limit on when you can play and buy supplies.
