I agree, but for slightly different
reasons.
Each and everyone one of us likes
to think we are truly unique, and
in some ways we are, but the truth
of the matter is that we are more
alike others than most care to
admit. This means that there are
numerous classification schemes
that could be applied to
individuals that categorize by
shared constellations of
personality traits.
This being said, it follows that
some personalities mesh well
together while others clash. In
other words, some people are better
suited to build relationships with
certain types of people than others
are. In a nutshell, it all means
that there are possibly millions of
people out there that an individual
will mesh with nicely, not just one
special "soul mate." Whether or
not a relationship survives depends
on how well two people are suited
for each other, whether each is at
a point in their life where they
want to build a relationship, and
how hard they are willing to work
to make that relationship work --
and that's about as special and
magical as it gets.
