It does not work very well. You
will lose weight at first, but the
body metabolism changes to adapt to
the low nutritional intake and
weight loss slows dramatically.
You will still lose fat, but are
losing many other needed nutrients
too.
There is no substitute for a
moderate diet and exercise. NONE.

Huh? I always thought the body
would stop losing weight and try to
hold it's fat as an auto response
to no nutrition. I've read that
you will lose muscle before you
lose fat, if you don't try to lose
weight properly. Maybe you should
see a nutritionist.

It doesn't work ,i know from
experience,i would starve myself
and not eat, would lose weight at
first then eventually the weight
loss would stop and come back most
of it would be water due to
dehydration,it ruins your
metabolism and makes you hold
weight even today when i eat one
meal and one snack a day,my weight
will not go lower than 145 to 150
and I'm 5 foot 3 so that's not
skinny,when you starve yourself
you'll also come across a no
control point where you'll been
because your body is so hungry
dieting and starvation does not
help you lose weight and keep it
off ,only proper nutrition and
reduced calorie intake ,(not
skipping meals,)and exercising are
the only ways to lose weight,a
proper diet equals a healthy weight
starvation is not healthy or
pretty, your body was meant to have
food that's why god gave you a
digestive tract

No no !! You can kill yourself like
that /i had a friend that did this
and when she end up at the hospital
she could not pass down none of the
foods she enjoy before she got sick
/she regrets it so much that she
rather eat healthy and exercise/but
unfortunately she pass away /she
developed some complication with
her skin and she could not go out
in the sun and one day she went out
with another friend of hers and she
told me that she just want it to
feel the sun ,went out and collapse

 Starving can give those weaknesses
which can be very difficult to
lose.
But, It really helps to lose more
pounds, I tried it and suffered
too. But alright now after so many
years of trying.

 Starving yourself is very unhealthy
to lose weight. For your body to
function you have to have food..
The food gives the body nutrients
and with out it you can die and
become weak!

There are health risk in concept of
starvation. If you can provide
evidence stating otherwise, it
would be most welcoming. You may
lose weight but is not the best
course of action. Lack of food
consumption will lead to low
nutrition intake. It is imperative
that one gets the proper daily
nutrition needed for proper bodily
function. There are dire
consequences with starvation and I
highly recommend you stray from
that path(assuming that is what you
are considering).

No, I used to be anorexic, and I
was very near death when I decided
to get help for it. I was having
heart palpatations constantly, and
I was dehydrated. There is no
benefit to starving yourself.

Certainly not. Not only does it
not work, it poses serious health
risks. Once the body stop
receiving nutrients in the form of
food, it begins to break down body
tissues in order to get nourishment
and to provide energy. One loses
muscle mass and becomes weak.
Vitamin intake decreases and
permanent organ damage can occur.
Don't try it.
