I'm for starving yourself. I do it.
If there is no choice but 2 eat
(family meal etc.) try simple
things like jiggling your leg -
this increases your metabolism
while you eat. Try punishing
yourself when you think about food
- pinch your thigh for example.
Spray some perfume on some tissue
and keep smelling it - this will
lessen your appetite. Chewing gum
has about 5 calories in it but the
minty-ness will make you not want 2
eat food and will also keep you
having nice breath :) If you can't
help but dive for the fridge - take
a carrot - they contain practically
no calories and because they are
crunchy, your body will think you
have eaten more than you have -
filling you up wwaaay quicker :)
hope this helps girls x

It makes you lose weight faster...
But that's not the weight you want
to lose... You want to lose the
unneeded FAT... Not muscle that you
really need.
There's a reason why there are
rehab centers for those who starve
themselves... An none for those on
Healthy Diets

 I'm not for starving yourself
really, but as a recovered anorexic
i would have to agree with the fact
that starving yourself does make
you loose weight super fast.

I'm for it because in 6th grade my
grandma died and i over ate and got
really fat I'm finally considered
average this year but i still want
to get skinner =( i drink loads of
water, NO fast food or meat and
deff NO SODA not even diet is
sucks but it works, and i eat a
piece of fruit every morning to get
my metabolism going and i only eat
400 calories or less when i get
back home before 6 but that's every
other day ! Try not to drink
anything but water you will get
thinner and if ur hungry munch on
pickles or celery they both contain
NO CALORIES that's rite 0 !
Hopefully ill weigh like 115 really
soon =) wish me luck and ill come
back and tell you how well it
worked when I'm done =)

Yep... It works.... I Eat every 3rd
day .... I stick to 1 slice of
turkey meat... 1/2 cup Spinach
leaves...4-5 celery sticks and
Loads of water. Every morning I
have a protein shake with virtually
no fat and LOADS of water all day.
I lost 40 lbs in 3 months... Gained
15 over the course of 4 months and
now I'm starting up again. I'm 5'2
and weighed 165... Went down to 125
and now weigh 140.... But I eat
whatever I want now...
Unfortunately... I miss my size
3-4....and I'm ready to ditch the
food and size 6-8 again.... Soooo
worth it!!!!

I have tried starving myself, but
my family and friends make me eat.
Its really difficult, because once
i eat one thing i just keep
eating!! I love food. I am hardly
ever hungry, food just sounds good.
What would be some good motivation?

Everyone who says it's bad for you
has a point but keep it to
yourself... I hated my body... I'm
on my 3d day of total denying of
food, I drink water though and I've
lost so much weight... I'm male
btw.. Does that have something to
do with it?? Because we have more
muscle? I heard muscle burns
calories... So yeah.. I may have
been overweight but I was pretty
buff, now they're really getting
toned :)

I lost 40 pounds in about 10 weeks
by doing this. I would only have
maybe 1 meal per day and the rest
of the day consisted of diet pepsi.
I wouldn't take a break during work
for fear I would be tempted to eat
and I would do a quick 10 min
exercise before I took a shower to
go to work. Weight loss is worth
the hunger pains!

Well, i hope you are right because
i am a lot of weight and i want to
not be bullied for being fat i did
this for one day , i gotta say, i
lost 5-7 lbs . But i felt sick , my
head hurt my arm muscle and leg
muscle felt like someone stuck a
pin in them, but i would do it
again because it worked well and i
didn't gain it back and more untill
. A few days later cuz i started
pigging out again. So once your
done getting it all off. Id just
say don't pig out and eat healthy
and only eat junk food once in a
wile and you wont gain it back ,

I'm for it...started this week went
a couple days without more than a
coffee and some nuts then half of a
turkey sandwich on the third day.
Take Vitamins everyday!!! Just
avoid the kitchen because as soon
as you eat 1 thing you can't stop!
But if you pay attention to the
scale and see it go down everyday
it will make you stay away from the
food!

 Does it truly work?
|
 11 Oct 2008 00:45
|
|
I was 145 in beginning of June, I
ran lifted weights and ate only
fruits, then slowly i started
swimming and ate nothing for about
9 days and in those 9 days I went
down to 110. Then I started craving
fatty foods and am back to about
130. I am planning to starve for 7
days straight and then a salad diet
to get back to 115. Love this diet,
but the problem is when you HAVE TO
EAT you end up binging. Or at least
I do, But then I loose all that
bing-eating weight in the first 2
days of my starvation. Then I
repeat the cycle, binge for a day,
starve for 7 days.
|
 10 Oct 2008 01:01

 I am starting tomorrow and
seriously people do not know how it
feels to be overweight!!! I hope
the results are amazing I want to
loose 20 pounds..

I am totally for it see if you
really like someone and they don't
like you then you need to lose
weight and i agree the best way to
do it is just to drink juice for
breakfast, milk for supper, and
milk for supper and i only eat
every three days and all i eat is
between 150-450 calories i have
been doing this for about 9 months
and i used to weigh 191 pounds and
now i weigh 124 and i am so proud
of my self so try it it really does
work!!!
|

 IT DOES WORK. I lost 12 Kilo's in 2
weeks! That's 6 kilo's a week.
Drink HEAPS of water, have a glass
of juice for breakfast, milk for
lunch and milk again for dinner,
and HEAPS of water in between.
Exercise for 30-40 mins a day, and
your all set! C'mon girls, sweat it
out!! Get skinny and HOT
|
 04 Oct 2008 04:45
|
|

I have been eating about 200 to 300
calories a day for 4 days. I'm able
to fit in my jeans I wore last
year. The reason I'm doing this is
so I have a perfect body and more
guys will like me. I'm average
weight but I'm still considered
fat. People say I have a beautiful
face, but nothing about my body. I
want to be 100 ibs and I'm turning
14. I eat but not a lot. I've tried
making myself throw up but it
disgusts me. So hopefully I'll lose
27 pounds. I've tried exercise and
eating nothing but fruit but it
doesn't work for me. I think the
weight lost will boost my
confidence when I flirt. Also I
know about 5 girls in my school who
have done this and there bodys look
PERFECT!
|
 02 Oct 2008 00:47
|
|

I'm for it. I have done it before
but I have taken something with
doing it and can loose four pounds
in a day the first day. Every day
after that I loose a pound a day.
But that's just drinking ONLY water
and eating as little as a banana a
day. I have three kids so I need
something that's will curb my
appetite and keep the sweets away
from my mouth...

I am for it, I was thinking maybe
you can take vitamins since you are
not getting it through your food
though.

You are losing muscle, not fat. If
you are looking for pale, bony, and
anemic, go ahead. If your looking
for strength, energy, and color, do
it the right way.

I used to starve myself, and then
when people made me eat i used to
throw up afterwards..due to his I'm
now so ill, i have so many health
problems, due to starving and being
sick, i have an inflamed chest
which hurts so much, stomache
ulcers and a real low immune system
so i catch everything, i now have
salmonella, to be honest I've had
every illness and the doctors have
said its because of being so stupid
with starving myself and bulimia
and now I'm paying for it, i can't
hold down a job having to take so
much time off sick and basically am
so depressed, its not worth it...
|
 05 Nov 2008 16:17
|
|
Nope... A body will go into
starvation mode and begin to store
anything that is taken in as fat
and usually results in bloating and
weight gain...
|
 14 Nov 2008 03:13
|
|

I used to starve myself to lose
weight for my party. I lost almost
fifty pounds in a few months with
NOT starving my self but eating
less calories that i used to
eat.....then i would just walk
around my neighborhood.....when i
saw that i wasn't loosing weight as
fast i decided to starve my self
and yup i lost weight super fast
but then i gained alom twice of
what i had lost. To me at age 16
this was my only option.i wanted
wanted to have the perfect body.
Now i started eating a little bit
less doing a some
exercise........and i went from 230
pounds to 150 pound....in a a lot
less than a year....now i look at
my self and i still can't
believe.....the first couple of
days with the different eating plan
is a bit hard but when you prove to
your self you could do it you will
be able to. I'm just a 16 year old
girl......i didn't use some $1000
diet plan of special food i just at
less of what i used to.......I'm
100% this will work for any one....
If i new it didn't i would waste my
time writing this .... Just try it
............good luck to every one
.................

You superficial chicks make up over
half the women in rehab centers for
women with body issues. LOSE WEIGHT
THE HEALTHY WAY!!!!! Stop eating
the wrong thing, get your damn
heart rate pumping, and you'll FEEL
better AND gain
self-confidence!!!!!!!!!! Where are
your families/friends???
|
 14 Oct 2008 17:03
|
|
Absolutely not!! With a stable diet
you are in control and its gradual,
with starvation, your body is
starved and one day it will get
very hungry and you end up eating
more than you lost. Really not
good for you at all.
|
 30 Aug 2008 12:47
|
|
 Actually, the answer is no.
Starving makes it more difficult
for the body to burn fats.
I know an expert doctor who says
that if we wanna lose weight we
should drink 21 glasses of water a
day. The most important meal while
dieting is the breakfast.
|
 29 Jul 2008 20:38
|
|
Your body starts eating itself if
you don't eat for a long time.
Therefore you slowly but surely
start to get sick. You can get
diseases as well as asthma.
Exercising off more calories than
you took in is great. Just eat
something so your body can take in
the vitamins and minerals.
|
 18 May 2008 06:44
|
|
 In complete agreements with pencil.
You'll lose more weight keeping
your food in moderation than
starving yourself.
|
 29 Apr 2008 23:42
|
|
Quite the opposite. In the short
run you may lose the weight, but
you risk slowing down your
metabolism so that you actually
burn less calories in the long run,
and you lose more muscle and bone
than healthy dieters.
|
 29 Apr 2008 22:03
|
|
No not eating slows down your
metabolism(how ever u spell it) so
you do not burn calories like you
do when you eat so exercise and
loss wt. The right why.
|
 29 Apr 2008 05:33
|
|
 Starving yourself for self
confidence is the lamest thing i
ever heard, you're lame!
|
 23 Apr 2008 00:20
|
|
Starving does not make you loose
your weight instead it makes more
problems like gas trouble
|
 09 Apr 2008 12:25
|
|
 Starving myself into losing weight
has completely changed my life for
the better. I've never been
happier!
|
 22 Mar 2008 18:52
|
|
If you care more for your looks
than your long-term health sure,
keep starving yourself. Instead of
torturing your body, why don't you
just try to get some self esteem in
a healthier way. Join a sport,
practice a skill. Being skinny
isn't the only way to feel good
about yourself.
|
 12 Mar 2008 02:00
|
|
 No, linking self-confidence to a
reading from a scale is generally
not a good idea. Long-term
starvation is not a good idea.
On-again off-again dieting for
weight-loss is nigh-guaranteed to
lead to rebound weight gain that
the body will try to retain as a
buffer against future periods of
famine. Rebound gains are
typically fat, rather than
well-earned toned musculature.
For some people, well-distributed
fat can be a path to
self-confidence.

|
 Lies!somebody call jenny craig1 in
the heck were you thinking ?that is
ludricious.i just know you dont
wanna work out as you get stronger
where is you starve yourself,you
get weak.
|
 08 Feb 2008 16:44
|
|
It does make you loose the weight
but eventually you have to start
eating and it will make you put on
the weight twice as fast. This is
due to your body starts to store
fat and food because it does not
know when you are going to eat next
so it will store fat.
|
 08 Feb 2008 13:00
|
|
Sure, it will make the weight drop
off, but it's energy you lose, not
fat. I can assure you that it
doesn't work as well as you might
think. I am a recovered
anorexic/bulimic. I was once
overweight and then, I started a
crash diet. It took me 9 months to
lose 60 lbs. If I had gone about it
the right way, I would've had the
same results anyway, but with a
healthier outcome. Starving
yourself is never a good idea as it
may lead to much more serious
complications than being
overweight.
|
 27 Jan 2008 22:44

|
I am really fat and i have been
starving myself for about 1 week
now and it does work!! How can
people understand how we feel when
we try losing weight? Do you get
called fat? Do you get people
looking at you in disgust BECAUSE
you are fat?? No thought not, so
pls don't say what you are saying
unless you really know how we
feel!!
|
 24 Jan 2008 17:23
|
|
That is so unhealthy! You can also
faint!
|
 20 Jan 2008 17:04
|
|
Nobc your body is so use to eating
that if you starve yourself than
your stomach will collect all the
calories it can get.
|
 16 Jan 2008 18:36
|
|
I lost half a stone in 3 days by
starving myself,it works but its
hard to stop once you start and it
messes your head up,you cant think
straight and get really moody and
once you start eating again you put
twice as much back on so you'v
really got to know what your doing
|
 09 Jan 2008 21:00
|
|
 Starving for loosing weight leads
to health complications, u need to
gradually decrease weight, but not
once at a time
|
 01 Jan 2008 04:56
|
|
 No way! Starving yourself reduces
needed nutrient in the body! You
may get sick easily or die of
malnutrition! Even though you may
become slimmer, starving yourself
can be very dangerous! I suggest
not starving yourself!
|
 31 Dec 2007 18:44

This "diet" is one of the most
unhealthiest ways to lose weight.
By doing this, you are only losing
weight for a short amount of time.
I can guarantee that those ten
pounds, and more, will be back on
your body in no time. Plus, you
are sending a bad message to teens
out there who will be starving
themselves tonight just to lose a
pound or two because someone named
marquirita said it was a good idea.
And they will starve, look gaunt,
and end up in the hospital because
of your advice. And please don't
tell me that what i said was harsh
- it's the truth.
|
 31 Dec 2007 17:05

No way! People who do that will get
skinny but are notorious for not
knowing when to stop. I'm totally
against it
