I am a younger sibling and i shared
a room with my sister when i was
younger, if the teenager gets their
own room the younger sibling gets
their own room! People need their
privacy. If i was still sharing a
room with my sister we would fight
way too much.

 Teenagers should have their own
room, because that's about the time
when there is a huge separation
between the two, eg, the older one
staying much later, and I believe
that teenagers really need their
privacy, without having younger
siblings get in the way.

I hate sharing rooms my oldest
sister and I used to rooms about4
years ago when I was in middle
school and she was about 19 she
smoked, drank and anything else My
room was always a mess, it smelled,
I spent hours very week cleaning
the while room to make it better.
She also worked graveyard so she
would be very loud when she would
get ready for the work. Now I have
one of the biggest rooms in the
house and I LOVE my room I love my
bed and I love how I painted my
room.

 I don't mind sharing a bedroom with
my siblings...after all, I don't do
much in there besides sleep...
It's a little crammed but I don't
mind....

Yes everyone needs their own space
but it doesn't always work out that
way. Too many kids and too little
bedrooms. I offer my oldest of 3
the front entry way every time she
is in need of a bedroom minus her
younger sister. She never takes me
up on it.

I totally agree. Up until a few
months ago my sister and i had to
share an incredibly small room
together and it was horrible. To
teenagers in one iddy biddy room.
You have absolutely no privacy and
can do nothing by yourself because
they're right there.

I think if the parents can afford
it,teenagers should have their own
room.Your room should be your
private space where you can do
anything you like and sharing a
room will NOT give you privacy.

I think that teens should have
their own room if the house is big
enough. They need their own
privacy and space.

Your premise says one thing, but
your explanation asks the
opposite.
I shared a room with my younger
sister from the time she was born
until I was able to afford to move
out. The only time I didn't have
to share a room with her was when I
worked out of town in the summer
and when I went to college. Even
then I had to live with others.
As a result of my experience I have
to say, if there are enough rooms
in the home, a teenager should
definitely has his/her own room.

I think if it is possible for
parents to afford a home with
enough bedrooms to accomodate all
their children then it is a great
thing for children to have the
responsibility and privacy that
their own room allows. I always had
my own room and loved it.

 Ideally teenagers should have their
own room.
Younger children should be in bed
and asleep before a teenager would
want to be.

No i am against that . Teenagers
are more mature and the young ones
look up to them and may learn about
stuff a little bit to early.

I've got 3 kids and they are
boy-14 girl-9, boy-7.
The two boys shared until the
oldest got a teenager and said if
he doesn't get his own room he will
run off.
