Dang right. Especially that pesky Bill of Rights. It's only called a living document because the founding father's thought it was so dynamic.

I am half with you. I believe the constitution has become "to much" to be effective. I vote for removing not amending removing all but the first and original ten amendments.

The constitution is not outdated. Besides it was written by Godly men and that is why God has blessed our country because of Godly standards. When we get away from these standards God help us.

The Constitution was originally written as a definition of our government and how it was to be run. Starting with the Bill of Rights, everytime our leaders recognize either a legitimate need for a change or a definitive change in our society amendments were added to keep up with the world and the times. If there weren't any amendments since the Bill of Rights I would agree.
We are living in a 21st century world, a 21st century country with a 21st century democracy.

1) If you don't agree I have 2 suggestions: 1. Start putting together a group of people dedicated to getting the amendments added to our constitution that you feel are needed to bring the document up to date
2) Study the other existing Democracy's ...in every continent...Asia, Africa, South America, etc...Once you've done that, then I believe you will be able to compare and see just how our Democracy based on our Constitution is the most updated, 21st Century in existence.

It is written and a guide line and just because times change is no reason to say it is outdated. When writing it the writers put important things in there and we should all honor it still today.

It may feel a little outdated, but the things it is stating still has to do with today. The amendments all have to do with things today so another reason why it is not outdated!

The US Constitution is not outdated for the simple reason that it has built-in mechanisms for revision. It also has provisions that show an anticipation of events that are occurring today.

If you change it then that defeats the point in writing it. It has already been changed so much that it is different than it was meant to be. I don't think it is out dated.

The Constitution is not outdated! Besides, there have been so many amendments to the Constitution that it is no longer the same document it once was!
