The Republican Party Has Subverted The Constitution.
For
By Allowing The Religious Right To Become Such A Powerful Factor In The Party, Republicans Have Made It Necessary For Their Candidates To Disgracefully Pander To That Element In Order To Even Have A Chance Of Getting Into The Presidential Election Process. This Has Subverted The Founders Intent To Keep Church And State Separate.

You're dead on, but it goes further than the Religious Right. I know the rationalization is that our founders were Christians, but the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were based on JUDEO-Christian principals, not only Christian tenets. It scares the hell out of me. I'm not a Christian, and I feel threatened by the the thought that the Christian majority in our country thinks that I should be bound by what they believe.

The Republican Party has allowed Bush to ignore the Constitution. They have permitted him to commit illegal, unconstitutional acts without having to answer to our system of justice or the American people.

I'm disappointed to say that the Democrats haven't outshined the Republicans. They have caved every step of the way and have been complicit in the indiscretions of this Republican administration.

This argument is flawed because the Constitution makes no provision for separation of Church and State.

Absolutely not.It is the true conservatives within the republican party that support the constitution and strongly believe in its core values and our civil rights liberties and freedoms. The democratic left wing liberals are trying dissolve religious faith in any god. They want us to become totally dependant on the government and have faith in them to provide all our wants and needs. They continue to push for legislation that controls more of our lives and continue to expand government larger and more powerful than our founding fathers ever intended it to be .
