I would rather be given that single flower by some one who is poor because they are willing to share something with me when they have nothing. You also said they would love me. Of course I'd want some one who would love me over some one who just wanted to use me!

 His love would be all that mattered and to be honest he wouldn't have to give me anything.....

 Well In today's life it is hard to find true love.
And I would rather take a special rose which means a lot, rather than roses bought from money.

And a thumb rule. Always love the person who loves you, rather then the Whom you love.


Money can't buy everything.

 Because you said the rich guy just wants to look good in front of his friend by giving me flowers I have made the decision that I wouldn't want that (i don't like guys that only do things in relationships because it makes them look good to everyone). If the poor guy truly loved me and got me a single beautiful flower I would appreciate it whether I felt the same about him or not. Now if it were not a matter of love and this was say my birthday or Valentine's Day, i would want the rich guy's gift, hands down, haha.

 I would rather be given a single flower than a flower which cost a lot, but that was given by a unloving person. If you really cared about someone and you spend the tiniest amount of money you had left on someone you loved, that would be good enough for me.
