 Depends not unnaturally thin models
but i reckon that size 8 or less is
fine. The people watching the shows
aren't bothered about the models,
it's the clothes, the models are
just hangers for the clothes.

A size zero is not a realistic size
for most girls ( I know there are
some) we have put too much emphasis
on size and beauty and normal girls
and women just will not measure up
to that standard. I say, bathe and
shampoo, wear deodorant, nice
fitting clean clothes, do you hair
and makeup and brush your teeth-
and do not worry if you are a size
0 or 20!

Some teenagers are naturally a size
zero. But the models that try to be
one are endangering themselves!

I think that models should reflect
what women look like realistically.
Women in the modeling industry are
practically being shunned for
having a bigger build, and for
being just a little bit bigger. Why
not make us feel good about
ourselves, instead of making us
even more insecure about our body
then we already might be.

People are literally dying to be
thin. Models should reflect the
average size.

Models should be more realistic and
look like the people who have to
wear their clothes. All women do no
look like those skinny girls.

When I go to the store to buy my
meat, I never buy bone with very
little meat on it, or meat with too
much fat either!
HOWEVER! I like do want some fat on
it! Just not way too much! For that
make it SWEET and Tender!

No because small children from the
age of 10 can look at their fave
model and think wow i want to look
like that and then stop eating and
become annorexic or bolemic and in
the most terrible cases this can
result in death!!!!!!

 I'm a teen and I'm a size 4 to 5
and when I see someone that is a
smaller size I feel fat I feel
depressed. And I think a lot of
girls feel the same way! They think
that boys only like gurls that are
thin ans stuff like that and then
they stop eating and do drugs to
make themselves thin so maybe
people would like them and every
gurl is beautiful and they all
should shin no matter what

Zero is just that, nothing, nil.
It's already bad enough with people
benging and purging to a degree of
emaciation.

I think if someone is pretty enough
to model then they should be able
to even if they are size 0 ir size
8 there are different needs for
models of all sizes they even have
plus size models so no i do not
think it should only be allowed for
the smallest people to be allowed
to model.

I think they should have all size
women on the runway when these
shows are on. Although there are
small women out there in public
face it, not every woman is small
and companies should show more
bigger women in their designer
clothing, it is more real.

 They give women and unrealistic
role model, which negatively
impacts women's lives. I think
realistically proportioned women
should rule the runways.

 Please re-read what you wrote.
It's gibberish. From what I can
figure out, I don't agree Real
women don't wear a size 0!
As far as the effects go, it's an
unrealistic picture of what girls
and young women should look like.
Trying to emulate the stature of
these models can lead to obsessive
behavior, low self esteem and
eating disorders.
I wish you could see some of the
photographs I've seen of such
models. I can't conceive of any
more unattractive and grotesque.
Frankly, I was amazed that some of
those woman were able to support
their own weight in order to stand
up!

I do not agree that it should be
permitted...to be a model should
not have to mean that you must go
to great lengths to get to a
desired weight.
