Boys and girls are equal. One
Gender is not better then the
other, we need both for all living
things to exist.
|

They're equal, even though life in
today's society is very Unequal.
Although, things are getting
better...

Yes there is equality between boys

I think the old or orthodox people
are creating difference
till there's no difference

 Well its better being treated

Coz there won't be much jealousy
around the world
and u wont see anyone having

When we talk about the value of
boys and girls, I believe they are
equal.
If by equal you mean, similar, no.
There are beautiful and valuable
differences in each gender -
differences which were designed to
complement each other and make
their relationship harmonious.
If you ask, are they being treated
equally? Sometimes by some people.
But not always. There are people
who have prejudices in one way or
another.
|

I think both are equal. A person
can do or become anything they
want, make or female.

If your asking if boys are threated
like girls, and girls treated like
boys? Then I would say no! God
created girls to be girls and boys
to be boys, and would it it not be
a miserable world if they didn't
have some differences! I for one
like that EVERYTHING is different,
and that's GOD's way, too!
So I feel that both girls and boys
are treated as young humans, as
they should be!
Once again I'm on BOTH sides!

There is eqaulity! Men have things
they have to deal with, while woman
too. Men (if their responsible)
will need to work, under lots of
stress, inorder to support the
family. Woman, would need to stay
at home a look after the family and
give birth to babies.

This is an invalid question on the
grounds that it would involve a
"snapshot" of a situation. I could
answer that boys and girls are
equal, then they grow, learn
prejudices and how they are applied
and the men and women become less
equal in thier relatiopnship to
each other; dependant upon the
situation they would find
themselves in at the moment.

 There isn't any specific criteria
given that on what basis Boys &
Girls are considered equal by
debate poster.
For me, They are equal mentally &
In capabilities but then, their
desires, emotions, way of thinking
are different than men & difference
between them is the cause of
attraction for both of them. So,
they aren't totally equal.

No still many people think girls
are useless but we aren't science

 No no no!!!there is no
equality!!!for example not so long
HILLARY was running for president i
did not see enough support
//instead there was issues about
her being a woman,mood switching
etc!!!if it was a man they would
just call it HE change his point of
view!!

I wish there was equality but there
isn't. Women themselves work
against themselves by some
concenting to becoming sex objects,
posing naked on the Page 3 in the
Daily Star and singling themselves
out with 'I wear ridiculously high
heels cause I'm a woman' - which
makes you uncomfortable and
disatvantaged just cause you want
to look pretty. Pretty isn't
everything, but if you insist on
it, men are going to go with it, as
some seem to think that they need a
lot of visual, but they make that
judgement solely because women
insist on overdressing.
BTW GIRLS... I'm a woman, and I
don't need dresses and high heels
to feel like a woman, as I have
breasts and a female form
already... And I feel hot and I am
ultimately respected within my life
and men agree that I am... Because
it's all in your character, not
your dress. You'd be surprised how
much more respect you get if you
are proud in just a pony tail and a
pair of jeans. Life is what you
make it, girls! You must act like
you should be respected in order to
be, if we all did it, the tables
would turn instantly.
This is why I believe there is a
problem with equality!

 There isn't equality really
although there def. Should be.
However its not society is not just
sexist towards one of the genders
there is prejudice against both
just in different ways

 The institutions(schools, churches,
politics, the media, etc) of
society gives males more freedom
than females.

for it in many venues.

No, there is not equality between
boys and girls. And these
inequalities only become more
entrenched as boys and girls mature
into men and women. In school,
teachers are more likely to attend
to male students, provide them
additional help with thinking
through problems, and are more
likely to call on boys to speak in
class than girls. These hidden
injuries that occur within the
classroom send a subversive message
to young girls that they are not
valued in the same way as boys.
Once the reach high school, young
girls are subjected to sexual
harassment on a frequent basis, and
are taught that they are something
to be look at. Women's bodies are
objectified in ways that men's
bodies are not - women are reduced
to something to be merely ogled and
not taken seriously. When men and
women reach the labor market, women
earn, on average, 70 cents on the
dollar in comparison to males of
similar race, age, education, and
experience. Does this seem like
equitable relations between the
sexes?
|

No i don't think it is equal it
should be but different sexes are
favoured for different things which
i think is wrong

There is no equality between boys
and girls and by that I mean that
when it comes to physical and
mental endurance, females have a
higher capacity to tolerate
things..whether be it pain
(childbirth) or mental trauma (more
males die more due to hypertension,
strokes and generally stress
related disorders). The second
point where there is no equality
between boys and girls comes in
terms of society...a lot of
developing nations don't give equal
opportunities for education and
growth to girls.. And all over the
world ..glass ceiling exists in the
workplace.

There May Be Exceptions But I Don't
Believe That Men And Women Are
Equal. Men can Be Described As a
Hard Hammer And Women a Fragile
Flower. Strength Of A Man is His
Beauty And Beauty Of A Women Is Her
Strength.
In Case Of Mental Work, Women Can
Surpass Men, But Physical Work Men
Are Better!!!

No and there shouldn't be. They
need parity. Girls don't need
urinals. Guys don't need sanitary
product dispencers.

I wish they were equally treated
but unfortunately they are not one
great lyricist said on a reality
show that a woman to gain a equal
status as a man in the society will
have to be three times better than
him at work.

equality between boys and girls!
|

 There has never been equality
between girls and boys and there
never will be. No offense meant to
anybody with that comment. There
are still people who see girls as
the feint and fragile figures that
they were seen as back when there
were kings and queens and some
people still see men as people who
should be tough and not worry about
raising kids, but just provide
money and food for the family.
|
 12 Aug 2007 00:32
|
|
There should be equality in the
value that each has to offer.
Unfortunately, that is not the
case. Things are changing, but
we've a long way to go to give the
proper value on women's
contributions and abilities to
influence government, politics,
world business and peace/war
issues, etc. The Good Old Boys are
accepted with their cigar smoking
power lunches... Get a bunch of
women together and its a Coffee
Klatch of gossipers... Give me a
break!
|

I'm for equality of them both, but
I hate to say that in this world
there isn't.

 How do you define "equality"?
Men/boys and women/girls are
different from each other (no
kidding?!), but is there equal
value placed on the strengths that
are primarily held by women and
those strengths primarily held by
men?
I think not.
|
 19 Jul 2007 23:37

Are you kidding. I wish that was
the case. It should be. Many women
can do a job better that a man and
still not be equal
