Here is a Poem I wrote But I am not sure if anyone would like it. Here it is:
I call to thee, but you do not answer
I give my heart, but you break it in two
I tell how I deeply love thee, and you take them as
empty words
And now I am broken into pieces
on what to do
Should I stand alone?

 Very much so, c-cakes, it really leaves me with a good visual, I 'get' the feelings, and it flows with a nice balance of words, the syntactic.

Here is a poem i wrote in november...
I know you're old enough,
to work through the hard thoughts.
I know you're ready to leave,
but I just can't believe,
how fast time flew.
Now I just feel so blue.
I just want to say,
please don't go away.
Some people just let go,
but I can't let go.
You've been there for all my life,
now my heart is being stabbed by a knife.
I can't believe you're gone,
now i'm left all alone.
I wish you could come back,
but you can't come back.
And some day we'll meet again,
and that day will wash away my pain.
I dedicated this poem to all the people i lost...

Very nice poems, cupcakes and ki08. Both touched me.
I love freeverse the best. SO much of my writing is free verse and stream of consciousness writing. Most would not recognize my poetry as poetry...
