My last boyfriend and I broke up for reasons I didn't really understand at that exact moment. He just said, "It's not working." Surprisingly, I didn't even see it coming, so it was a huge blow.
It turns out that it was the biggest blessing. I'm now (about a year and a half later) healed completely and in a much more healthy and rewarding relationship with someone for whom I care very deeply! :)

I just ended my love relationship - but kept the friendship - because, although I believe that both my ex and I are wonderful in the way we are, we have totally opposite personalities. He needs space; I need intimacy (not necessarily sexual, because neither of us believes in sex before marriage). He is task/activity oriented; I am relational/people oriented. He is thinking(reason based); I am feeling(emotion based). Although in some ways these differences could complement each other, I found that most of the time they were conflicting with each other. Again, by ex-boyfriend is wonderful in many ways and we loved one another, I felt that our basic, relational needs were contradictory, and would set us up for a pattern of dysfunctional relationship. That does not mean that either one of us is dysfunctional, but we could become so, if we were to live together for the rest of our lives. He needs someone who is more similar to him, while I need someone who is more complementary rather than contradictory in our personality traits.

We talk and we found out we think we not meant to be. He said that we go different way so dicided to split up and continue for our journey its really hurt but i have no choice. But honestly the problem is him coz he dont want me to be close with him for a reason that he said he dont want to hurt his self. He was so over reacting in everything.

Well, I didn't break off with anyone, the fact is that she fell in love with someone else, that I feel is possible... I tried my best to keep her, and I tried all possible means for that, but it didn't work out... So I finally let her go... We are still best friends...
