Hi there, I'm back from my holiday but lately I'm not posting very much although I still read the forums and answers. Yeah lovelyme, you know I've been on holiday in the sun, it's been quite good although I've gain some weight!
Regarding to the question, my opinion is NO, of course fate doesn't exist in a relationship. For a relationship only two lonely people, luck (sometimes good, sometimes bad), chance and chemistry are needed, nothing to do with fate, of course not!

Yes. We first met in 1988. We saw each other for two weeks each year until 1991 ... He was stationed in Massachusetts and I lived in Virginia. He asked me to move to Mass, but I had two young children and didn't want to take the chance the relationship because he didn't ask me to marry him. He refused to move to Virginia and so we went our separate ways. In 2002, I was on the internet doing research and I decided to type in his name and see if I could find him. I came across a name that had two initials but no first name and the person had a Virginia address. I remembered his initials and took a chance on calling. He picked up the phone and couldn't believe it was me. He then told me he had just been looking at a picture of me that he kept in his briefcase. Of course I didn't believe him until he described the picture and the note I had written with it. I was shocked cause he was never one to hold on to 'memories'. We talked for awhile and I found out he'd moved to Virginia in 2000 when his employer decided to open a company in the area. We agreed that it would be nice to see eachother and catch up and he wanted to see my kids, so on that weekend (Father's Day) we met at the Hardee's near the base he'd been stationed at when I first met him. He walked over to me and asked me to take off my shades so he could see my eyes (he always liked my eyes) and when I did I could see he was EXTREMELY happy to see me. He followed me back to my place to see the kids and they actually remembered him! We talked for several more hours and then he had to get back on the road to head home. Once there he called me and told me how nice it was to see me and he enjoyed the conversation. He then said "You know where this going right?" and I said slowly "Yes". He then said "and you're okay with it?" and I said "Sure". About a month later, he invited me to a company cookout. As he was introducing me, one of the guys said "Oh, this is the girl you're going to marry." I was totally surprised, I thought he was talking about dating, not marriage! Needless to say we are coming up on our sixth anniversary. He and I both believe fate is what got us back together.

Im not really sure about it. Somehow yes. Because even you been together for how many years if he/she is not your destiny it cant happen that you and partner will be together! Right people?
