Blurters are constantly asking how much coins and baseball cards are worth. It's getting so tiresome, because there is only one response. No one can tell what coins or baseball cards are worth without actually seeing them! Knowing the condition of the item in question is essential. The site is just cluttered with these questions. Isn't it possible to reject these questions with the reason being a systemic response that the item be appraised by a reputable dealer?

What would be the negative impact of having the an idea to questions concerning the actual value readily and finally attested to by sending the baseball card to an outside professional grading service. It will cost about $8.00 US. The indivdual appraisers in most cases seem to slightly under value the inspected pieces which thay do return in a sealed clear plastis envelope. This is paramount to an uncomplicated sale say on E-Bay.

If you are buying rare coins are cards on Ebay with out first seeing them IN PERSON, like my Friend Robbie
said, then I would strongly suggest you use your money as toilet paper, and get better use out of it! Or find something else to collect!
The only question in that area I've seen that was useful was about a 40 something gold dime! And their is not one made of Gold!

DT, I don't care what the rejection would say. That could be part of it. My point is let's stop cluttering up the site with questions that can only be answered one way.

Hi, robbier, I agree that its hard to give a precise answer to those coins and cards questions without seeing it. However, we do hope we can help every blurter out, so in the future development, we may enable users put pictures or videos in their questions. It is just a thought, what do you think?

That's great, but it still doesn't change the answer to those questions. No legitimate card or coin dealer would try to appraise a card or a coin without having the objects in their hands. You would be helping them out by telling them the facts
