I would think some sort of compensation is in order. It all rather depends on the reason for the diversion to Gatwick, they did after all get you to your correct destination of Birmingham. However, a coach journey and an extended travel time of 6 hours with no provision for food and beverage certainly warrants compensation. Give it a try! ...more
