Internet Explorer 7 simply won't work with Macromedia Contribute. Most likely the error message you are seeing is "Contribute.exe – Entry Point not Found" and you are running Contribute 4 or Contribute 3. The only way to fix this problem is to follow the instructions recommended by Adobe which are here on this Adobe Tech page. The IE7 bug also appears to affect older version of Contribute, showing itself as ftp login problems when attempting to make a new connection to a site. Strangely, connections made to site before the installation of IE7 appear to work perfectly well. With Contribute 2, the solution seems to be a combination of the DDL fix suggested by Adobe and downloading the Contribute 2 Updater from the ...more
