    Projection screen basically is an installation comprising of black surface and a support structure generally applied for exhibiting a projected image for the vision of an audience.

    Projections screens are usually set up in a conference room or additional non-dedicated viewing space. Generally white or grey screen are applied solely to avoid any discoloration to the representation source. Flat or curved screens may be applied on the basis of the optics applied to project the image and the preferred geometrical correctness of the picture production.

    Screens can also be created for front as well as back projection, the more widespread projection systems have the image source positioned on the same side of the screen as the audience. In commercial movie theatres, screen basically is a reflective exterior which may be moreover aluminized or a white surface with small glass beads.
