Do Landlords Have To Supply A Refridgerator In There Rentals?

We are renting in the state of California Stanislaus county, the rental does not have a refridgerator; I was told by someone that in the state of California, landlords have to provide a refridgerator. is this true?

    The reason, most landlords supply this appliance, is it's easier to rent out the property if all the amenities are there for use.

    It's not a law that they have to furnish these things. However, California is odd in their representations, like New York laws are odd.

    You can contact your local courthouse and see if they can direct you to the landlord/tenant laws, and see what they will tell you.
