    River Nile is the longest river in the world which is located in Africa. It has a length of 6650 kilometers.

    It flows through a number of countries in Africa such as Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda, Eritrea, Congo, Sudan, Tanzana, Egypt, Burundi and Kenya.

    It starts from a place near Khartoum and has its mouth at Mediterranean Sea. The width of a river, as a universal rule changes at different places. The width of River Nile varies between 350 meters and 7.5 kilometers. The average comes out to be 2.8 kilometer.
