Why Doesn't Coffee Have Calories? Comes From A Bean And Beans Have Lots Of Calories?

Answer Question

Coffee Beans do have calories, but when you make coffee, you use water to leach the molecules that contain the flavor out of the beans (or grounds).  Then you throw the part that has all the calories (i.e., the beans/grounds) away.

Coffee itself has no calories when you drink it. Except that, most people end up ADDING calories by using cream & sugar. So you still need to watch it if you don't drink it black, I think.
