Are Breaks From A Relationship Ok?

Hi lovergirl1. How does your boyfriend feel about a break. It certainly would help you to know how you feel. If you take a break, and find that your not missing your boyfriend, well that pretty much answers your own question. I read something, somewhere that you wrote that caught my eye, and that was the fact that you and your friend get jealous when one of you find a new partner. You guys might just be meant for each other. It appears to me that you think about your friend, more than your boyfriend. Keep me informed lovergirl1. You've got me curious as to where this is going, and what the outcome will be. K?

It is not uncommon for people to take a break from a relationship. But it is important the both parties are on the same page about the "terms" of the break. You don't want to say your should take a break and have him go off and sleep with someone else. You want to explain it in a way that doesn't sound like you want to see other people, either. But if you do this, you also can't get mad if at some point he decides he doesn't want to wait anymore. These are things you should think long and hard about before suggesting a break. But if that is what you need to move forward with your life, then do it. You always have to put yourself first. I hope it all works out for the best.
