'He gave it to Mary and I' is the correct option. You're supposed to say 'I' instead of 'me' when you're talking about other people and yourself.

This is absolutely wrong! "To" is a preposition, and any
noun or pronoun after a preposition is in objective case, so the
correct answer is: "He gave it to Mary and me." Would you say:
"He gave the book to I"?
