How Can I Do Computer Networking?

When multiple computers are connected together to make a network with the help of a telecommunication system, it is called Networking. The main objective of networking is to share data among the network.  A network consists of two or more computers interconnected to each other.

There are different types of networking.  A basic network of computer can be created by connecting two computers. This should be done with the help of a crossover cable. You need to add network adapter to each computer. You will be able to transfer data between these two computers. These two computers need not be permanently connected to each other.

You can also connect two computers through the null modem cable. For this, you should use RS-232 serial port for both the computers. In this way there will be no need of using any extra hardware. In reality, network normally consist of more than two computers.
