You can also use baking soda to remove residues that cause hang-over odors. Dilute some baking soda with water and pour in your bottles and let set for a day or two. Works!

Soak the bottle in pure lemon juice for the day then wash it in hot water, if there is still a hint of scent repeat one more time, that's how I get the scent out of mine.
