How Do You Transplant Water Lilies?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

It is very important to plant the water lilies at a certain depth. If, for instance, your water lilies are planted at a depth of about 18 inches of water in your pond and if you want to transplant the water lilies in a lake, you should make sure that you transplant the water lilies in a similar depth of water in the lake, that is you must transplant them at a depth of 18 inches of water in the lake.

If you receive a water lily plant from a friend and if you grow yours in a plastic container at home or in your kitchen garden, such as in a empty milk crate which is made of plastic, you will notice that it will soon grow into a monstrously large-sized plant. The same plant can be grown in a lake at a dept of about two feet of water.
