Are Men Born With An Ego Or Is It Learned Behavior?

I think all humans, both men and women are born with an ego. When it gets blown out of proportion I feel this is learned behavior.

Ego is something that all people have, but some have more than others. It is natural for people to have it, but, there are things that people will learn along the road in their lives, that some people just pick up on, and take it to new levels. This is what can make a person a real jerk, and that goes for men and women. Hope this helps.

It is definitely a learned behavior, just like humility. Have you ever noticed how males born to male chauvinists themselves evolve into chauvinists, or a wife beater's children often become wife beaters themselves. Or self esteem, etc. It is all learned behavior, outside the womb.
