    x_n=(-1)n

    limit n approaches to infinity x_n =limit n approaches to infinity (-1)n

    limit n approaches to infinity x_n =(-1)infinity

    limit n approaches to infinity x_n =+ 1
    Since limit is not unique so does not exist, hence the sequence is divergent.
