When a person is asked an uncomfortable question in an interview, he either answers the question and tries to deflect the question using a witty one-liner. You cannot deflect even the most uncomfortable question easily if you cannot come up with a smart, quick and witty line on the spur of the moment. Deflecting questions is an art which requires a few years of experience and a bit of practice.

If your skills at deflecting the question fail to impress the interviewer, you will not only fail the interview, but you will also expose your weaknesses and convince people that you are aware that your inability to answer the question convincingly will prove to be a hindrance in your ability to do the job.
