What Tests Need To Be Taken To Be A Video Game Designer?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Video game designers aren't your entry level type jobs. To become a video game designer, you require certain degrees. Depending on the company, these vary, but normally you will need to have English, Computer Science and Art. Computer designers aren't as fun as they sound. When designing a video game, you are actually coding the game in itself. Lower level games such as Runescape or Club Penguin, require you to learn a coding language called Java. This is best for creating smaller video games. Larger companies use special coding, that sometimes they even created themselves. They will use this coding to encrypt different features into the video game, test it, and repeat. It's a very tedious job and requires a lot of dedication and hard work.
