How Did Women Contributed To The War Effort(during World War 2)?

    I think that a lot of them helped to run local uso and the red cross.

        They covered just about everything during the war. Almost all the men were off, fighting the war, so women stepped up to the plate and they hit the ball out of the park! They were doctors, mechanics, lawyers, teachers, business-women, small business owners, etc.

        They did just about everything for their countries, and this finally drove the idea that women are equal to men into many's hearts and minds.

        They helped by taking on the jobs men had such as being nurses, pilots, teahcers, etc. Not only that but minorities helped too. African americans, native americans, japanese...
