The word 'shua' is used as a noun and it refers to any branch of Shinto religion barring just one; Kokka. Shinto is a religion that is popular in the country of Japan and the believers of this religion worship their ancestors and they believe in nature spirits.

The word 'Shua' also used to refer to a Canaanite whose daughter is believed to be married to Judah and sometimes she is referred only as a daughter if Heber the Asherite.

The word is also used to refer to a language that is a part of the 'Khoisan language' and is spoken in the central part of Botswana. But the language has very few speakers in the world and according to an estimate done in the year 2004 there are only six thousand speakers of this language.
