Where Can I Get An Affidavit?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

You or someone with a typewriter can prepare an affidavit. Affidavit is just a legal term for a sworn statement. Put AFFIDAVIT  at the top center of the a blank piece of  typing paper, Down a few lines add your statement, put lines for the signatures of the persons this pertains to, along with a line for the notary public, at the bottom right hand side, after the words for your statement. UNDER THE LINES TYPE THE NAMES of the signers and also notary public underneath the line for the notary's signature. Get it notarized and you just saved yourself some money, don't spend it all in one place. (smile)  If this is still a little confusing, go to your local library and request to see a sample affidavit and follow the same format, just put your information. Ms-fix-it
