Deactivating a computer mouse is very simple. There are two ways of deactivating a mouse. One simple way is to plug the mouse plug which is plugged into the Central Processing Unit (CPU). This way the mouse will surely not work. Other way of deactivating a mouse is to open 'My Computer' on your desktop and enter 'Control Panel'. In that, you need to enter the 'Mouse' option and click on the 'Hardware' tab on the menu bar. In that you will see that a mouse is installed under 'Device'. Highlight the installed mouse, and click on 'Properties'.
In 'Properties', you shall see an option which says 'Device usage' and in that option select the option which says 'Do not use this device (Disable)'. This will disable the mouse automatically and to turn on the device again, you need to follow the same procedure and select the other option in the 'Device usage'.
