                        LUNA LESTER

     Luna lived in Sebastopol since 1994, and passed away suddenly during the early morning hours of November 1, 2009.
        She was 74 years old, born September 26, 1935, in Brooklyn, NY. She leaves three children, Victoria Lester and her spouse Weed (Jean) Evans of Sebastopol, Lois Lester of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Frank Lester and Luna's adopted son Francis Phiri, both of Fremont, CA, her sisters Cyl-Ann Balzano, (Dom), Barbara Russo (Sal) of Spring Hill, FL, her granddaughters Jahlia Osha (David), of London, Addie Evans and Elsa Evans of San Francisco, Luna's partner Lilith Rogers of Monte Rio, Lilith's children, Felicia Park-Rogers, Eliza Torlyn and Noah Torlyn and their families.
        Luna was a free spirit who traveled extensively and was actively involved in her Lesbian, spiritual, environmental and political communities.
        She will be sorely missed.
