How Do The Boards And Handouts Play Their Role In The Presentations?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Boards like charts have that advantage of being used in bright light, they often elicit the most audience interaction ad they are often the most spontaneous and flexible of any kind o equipment. The main disadvantage is that your back is usually toward your audience as you write. Boards come in two varieties. Chalk boards are the familiar green or black boards you see in classrooms. The chalk is usually yellow or white although some presenter use coloured chalks effectively. On blackboard, yellow chalk show up better than white. Plastic boards are more common in business than schools. They are made of white plastic, with specially made coloured markets. They have all the advantages of a chalkboard without the disadvantage of possibly getting chalk dust all over your three piece suit. Regardless of the kind of board you use, always find out before you begin how large it is and how to erase it.

Handouts are the final kind of visual aid. Handouts have one enormous advantage over the other kinds of visual aids they provide copy your audience members can take away with them. They have a huge disadvantage as well you cannot control your audience's reading ahead of you.
