If your stay is less than 90 days period and you are a British Citizen, then you do not require a visa. However, you must have a valid machine readable passport. In addition to this you should have documents like your ID, return tickets, hotel booking papers etc.

thanks sibyl I have also been told my passport must have a biometric signature. how can I tell if it has either. And what do I do if it does'nt.
