Missing a pill can cause spotting. If you forget to take a pill you should take it as soon as you remember and you should be safe. They also have the morning after pill. I dont think you are pregnant if you took them faithfully before and after and only missed one. Yet you may need to take a test if you miss your period. Good luck. To be safer next time, make sure to use condoms. Only they protect you against HIV and other STDS.
