Can You Tell Me More About David Mamet's New Film Red Belt?

The iconoclast writer and director David Mamet, always a maverick and a rebel seems to have won over some fans in high places with his recent award winning television series The Unit.  Sony Picture Classics have agreed to bankroll and make his latest movie, which is called Red Belt.  It is a film starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, the star of the movie Kinky Boots, Dirty Pretty Things and Love Actually.
Set in the under ground world of illegal fighting and gambling, Ejiofor is a martial arts master of the sport of jui jitsu, who is forced into underground fighting after being conned by promoters and corrupt officials and movie stars.
The movie marks a big change in Mamet's career after leaving major studios to work alone, due to his refusal to cow-tow to studio big wigs who he considers to be idiots who know nothing about making movies, only creaming money off them.
