I don't think there is a best car, you can get a good or bad one in any model. I personally like Nissan, I have had several and they are cheap, easy on fuel, look pretty nice and I have had several and got over 200,000 miles out of each with out any problems. I have one now with 216,000 miles on it and have only done the brakes, tune up, and general maintenance.
