Dear Sir,
It is to inform you that due to unavoidable circumstances (state the reason of not going on the trip) I am unable to take the scheduled trip for which you have already made all the arrangements. I want you to cancel my ticket. I am sorry for any inconvenience you have encountered in this regards.
