What Is The Difference Between Organic Zinc And Inorganic Zinc?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Zinc and other metals are often in the form of Chelates that are supposed to be more readily absorbed by your body. I never saw a study on this, it was just another way for vitamin companies to keep prices high. Chelates are helpful in removing heavy metals out of your body though which seem contrary. This is used to detox poisoned patients, etc.

Zilly, the question maybe should be in Health but Chelated Zinc atoms are often used in solution for different health problems. It is more readily used by the body when in a chelated form as with EDTA, etc. This is going back at least 25 years. Guest, you are fired.
