    If you have mason jars, you need to heat them up, sterilize them and the lids in water, quickly add the salsa, wipe the rims of the jars if you get salsa on them and cap them. Let them stand still somewhere, and listen for the lids to pop, that means that they sealed. If they don't pop, then you have to do this over again.
    Another way, but not good if you don't cook your salsa is to put the salsa in the jars, place the jars in water, and bring to a boil, until the salsa is hot, pull them out one by one, with something that will allow you to hold the hot jars, and cap right away. Hope this helps you out.
