My Cat Has Been VERY Congested, Wheezing, Hard Coating On Her Nose And Isn't Eating. We Took Her To The Vet. The Medicines Aren't Working, Out Of $. What To Do?
She was given 3 different meds. It's costing a fortune just between 2 visits and the meds. She's 8 years old and she has not been eating, I think because she cannot breathe normally and she cannot smell the food. HELP!

Sometimes it takes a day or two for the medicine to work, especially if they aren't taking in food and water. Give it another day, and see how she feels. You might have to resort to force feeding since finances aren't there. Sorry she's sick, I love cats, and if I had the money, I would most definitely help, but alas, no money. Hope this helps, good luck to you and the cat.

Thanks for the response. I actually shouldn't have worded it the way I did with regard to the money. In no way am I asking for money or donations or anything of that nature. I'm simply asking if anyone has experience with these symptoms and if there is anything that I might be able to do to help her without taking her to the vet again. She's been on these meds for over 2 weeks and her condition hasn't changed. She's just not eating much at all. She's not drinking a whole lot either. I just don't want to keep donating to the vet if what he does won't work.
Thank You,
