It would have been better if you has given complete details of your 2 periods along with dates. If your first periods were on due dates and remained for 2-7 days and after 7 days got second period, if second periods were light and lasted for a day or two then it can be ovulation bleeding that indicate ovulation. If you got your second periods with full flow for 2-7 days then there can be following conditions responsible.
- Hyperactivity of pituitary gland causing frequent ovulation
- Malnutrition
- Pelvic inflammatory disease
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Hormonal imbalance
