Computers are growing in demand with the passage of time. But the problem that has been emerged is that we are failing to control the virus problems of our computer. Somebody hacks our personal computer or somebody else sends us any sort virus but we are unaware of modus operandi to fix the problems of this style. Internet is giving impetus to virus and other issues because they are adding more and more viruses to our computers.

2) Firewall - If you frequently use the Internet make sure you have a firewall installed.  There are quite a few free firewalls available on the Internet.  If you have Windows XP it has a built in firewall.  A firewall is software that acts like a filter.  It only allows data that you know is safe to access your computer.  You define what is save to access and can be allowed through the firewall.

3) Don't download attachments/spam mails from unknown addresses.

To protect your  computer from virus / threats without having internet for a long time is possible but for at least one weak.
