This is how this problem is solved.
501-n=152
the first thing you'll do is move everything to one side and keep the negative or positive of the greater number!
Which means that 501 is the greater number and its positive so the 152 is positive no matter whether it was negative or positive in the beginning!
501-152=n
next subtract 152 from 501 which equals n
349=n
next divide them both by one and you still have 349=n.
