If you are trying to get pregnant, you should be having sex during ovulation. In the typical 28 day cycle, your period is day 1 and ovulation occurs around day 14. But not everyone has that perfect cycle. So you might need to keep an eye on your temperature and discharge to find out when you are ovulating.
