Will We Ever Work?

I think you answered your own question about your relationship working out.  You fight constantly over minor things is a clear indication that is isn't working! Even though you have two children together and feel you should be together for their sake, raising them in such a hostile environment is not healthy for them.  Or any of you for that matter. I would suggest you seek couples counseling to work out your issues. If you cannot resolve them in a  peaceful, loving and beneficial manner, it may be time to move on.  You all deserve to be treated with love and respect.  Your children will learn from the environment they live in.  What message do they get from this current environment? If these fights have the potential to get physically violent, do not hesitate to end it.  No one should put themselves in harms way for any reason. Verbal abuse can be as detrimental as physical abuse.  Don't allow this to be your case.  There is help available for you if you need it.

I know how important it is for the two of you for things to work out between you two. But I think after two kids, you should have an idea whether you two can get along or not. I think you should break up and do it while the kids are still young.
